Unit 6: Taking Care of Allah's World
The students will be focusing on animals and plants; their habitats; food chains/webs; and how pollution, deforestation, and urban sprawl
(lack of space, food, & water) cause animals to become endangered. They will be learning about how each animal in Allah’s world is a part of a pattern
that is woven into everyone’s life (food chains/webs) and that each animal is a part of Allah’s amazing balance of nature that makes life so beautiful.
Essential Understandings
Why must we become caretakers of the intricate, connected world Allah (swt) created for us?
How can we show that we care about the earth and everything in it?
SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT:
